**Job Description**:
This position performs our Company’s communications function by building awareness and enhancing the reputation of our Company in Vietnam (corporate communications) and by enhancing the visibility of key product growth drivers (therapeutic communications) in the public to deliver three strategic function priorities in Asia Pacific: to enable the business, to drive the company reputation and to build strategic communications.

**Primary activities**:

- Internal Communications_: _To build strategic communications_
- Design and execute local communications plan aligned to global and regional strategy in support of local priorities
- Lead development of a comprehensive strategy for continuous, effective and relevant communications to employee focused on business priority, corporate reputation strategy, change management and employee engagement
- Interact with relevant internal departments, coordinate and support in content creation for internal communications, ensure content and the design are in line with the corporate brand guideline and provide support to key internal communications activities.
- Serve as the point of contact and direct responsible individual for the liaison to regional and global stakeholders for executing and communicating global and regional programs/campaigns/initiatives in the company.
- Develop and execute thought leadership and communications plan for the Managing Director
- Therapeutic Communications:_ _To enable the business_
- Lead in developing and implementing communications programs for disease awareness and patient programs to raise awareness and understanding of the value, impact and promise of our medicines, vaccines, discovery science and pipeline in line with the business objectives and product priorities
- Create opportunities and drive positive media coverage of company priority disease areas and key brands by developing and implementing a comprehensive communications plan as one of the integrated tools inclusive of social media to drive business objectives and increase recognition of company leadership position in priority therapeutic areas
- Partner with commercial to develop external communications/press materials that align with global communications the guideline and branding.
- Manage and foster local media relations and manage social media including being part of the management team for local social media campaigns
- Collaborate with commercial teams to perform risk mitigation and issues/incident communications
- Corporate reputati_on:_ To drive company reputation_
- Express advanced, extensive and comprehensive knowledge of the company communications guidelines, policies, messaging, strategy & corporate brand resources and play an advisory role to support the business, mitigate risks and drive the company reputation
- Develop corporate branding strategy to drive positive coverage and enhance reputation of the company in Vietnam as a partner of choice of targeted stakeholders, including but not limited to media, government, trade, industry, medical community, etc.
- Create an integrated communications plan, harping on company innovation, culture and partnership programs for access, alliance and corporate responsibility.
- Lead the process of communications and media activities planning for the company; organize press conferences and create press materials; coordinate with other functions for appropriate representation to relevant media.
- Develop local issues and incidents (communications) management plan; raise issues and partner with global and/or regional for issues/incidents management per the issues and incident communications management playbook; advise and implement the standard corporate response protocol for possible issues/incidents situations.
- Adapt and tailor global or regional guidelines for local use, and local education/cascade

**Education, Experience and Competencies**:

- Desired Experience/Education: _
- Bachelor’s degree or above in communications, business, journalism or relevant discipline preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
- Progressive experience working in a public relations/communications or corporate affairs role
- Experience in agency management
- Experience in issues management, solid crisis-management skills in developing content rapidly and aligning communications across the company and stakeholders
- Experience with campaign management and working with senior executives
- Excellent interpersonal, English communication, presentation and writing skills
