As part of SmartDev’s aggressive growth plan we are looking to expand our development team.

The role will report to the PM and will be based at home. This role will require you to travel to client sites for meetings and will also occasional international travel

**Job Description**:

- **
Frontend Development**:

- Develop user-friendly web interfaces using Next.js and React.js.
- Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- ** State Management**:

- Proficient in state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
- ** API Integration**:

- Integrate with external APIs to fetch and update data in real-time.
- ** Code Optimization**:

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
- ** Component Library Development**:

- ** Routing and Navigation**:

- Implement efficient routing and navigation strategies in Next.js.
- ** Testing and Debugging**:

- Write unit tests and conduct debugging to ensure code reliability.
- ** Server-side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG)**:

- Leverage Next.js for SSR and SSG based on project requirements.
- ** SEO Optimization**:

- Implement SEO best practices to enhance search engine visibility.
- ** Collaboration**:

- Work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to implement features and optimize user experiences.
- ** Version Control**:

- Use Git or other version control systems for code management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Next.js and React.js development.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
- Familiarity with frontend build tools and bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.
