**Responsibilities**
- Create data-solutions optimized for performance, implementing schema changes, and maintaining data architecture standards across all of the business’s databases
- Design and development of efficient and scalable ETL solutions for enabling improved visibility and accessibility to different data perspectives as needed
- Multi-disciplinary - ability to work in a hybrid technological environment constructed such as batch and stream, relational and non-relational databases, on-premises and in the cloud deployment stacks
- Troubleshoots data issues and presents solutions; proactively analyzes and evaluates relational and non-relational DBs
- 24/7 Mission critical DB support

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of working experience as a **_database_ engineering/administrator **within a fast-paced complex business setting
- _Python_ - advanced processes design, development, optimization
- _AWS_ stack - Lambda, S3, EC2, Glue, Cloudwatch
- Big Data environment - _Hadoop\Spark, Pyspark, Parquet, ORC_
- K8s, Docker, Linux, Bash
- RDBMS\Postgresql - data management, modeling, performance, SQL
- SQL driven data skills (Schema design NR, dev, ETL, Performance)
- Version Control + CI\CD Standards (Git, Jenkins)

**Location**

Remote full time for the first 2 months, then hybrid
