Hydraulic Modeler

We are looking for an ambitious, creative and highly motivated **_Hydraulic Modeler_** to join our growing Maritime Advisory team in Ho Chi Minh office. You be a part of the team joining exciting projects throughout Vietnam, South East Asia and the World and enhancing society together

**What you will do**:

- Provide knowledge and experience-based competency in a range of hydraulic and morphologic coastal processes, coastal management, and (engineering) solutions;
- Perform discipline-specific data analysis, modelling and engineering services, such as: Preparing coastal hydrodynamic modelling and assessments, morphological modelling and assessments, feasibility study, and review of coastal projects and reports;
- Prepare technical analyses, advice and report on the discipline-specific that meet the Company’s, and clients’ requirements;
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in the disciplines required to deliver Coastal engineering projects;
- Give (internal or external) presentations on technical topics, communicate proactively with team members to explain domain related topics within a project, commercial mindset to implement project timely, effectively and to best quality within employee capabilities.
- Be a team player and contribute to the performance of our team;
- Other duties: Carry out any duties, which your line manager may reasonably request within the broad parameters of your role.

**What you bring to the team**:
General Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water, Environmental, or Coastal Engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working on coastal projects or in similar roles
- Speaking and writing English is recommended. Our company offers extensive English training for newcomers, if needed.

Technical requirements:

- A solid understanding of coastal analysis, coastal modelling, and reporting
- Proficiency in numerical modelling tools such as SWAN, MIKE, DELFT3D, or equivalent
- Experience with GIS software like QGIS, Arcmap, Mapinfo, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with programming and data processing, preferably with Python and Matlab.
