We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Vietnam office as the Media Relations Lead.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the media strategy and relationships for our clients looking to enhance their reputation in Vietnam. As the Media Relations Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing effective communication plans, building and nurturing key relationships, and providing strategic guidance to our clients.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Analytics Workflow Development**:

- Set up an analytics workflow to survey media channels and monitor engagement metrics.
- Utilize analytics insights to inform and optimize media strategies for clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to leverage analytics data for strategic decision-making.

**Engagement Workflow Implementation**:

- Establish an engagement workflow, leveraging insights to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop personalized media engagement strategies tailored to the needs of each client.
- Drive proactive media engagement initiatives to foster mutually beneficial partnerships and opportunities.

**Communication Workflow Enhancement**:

- Develop and implement communication workflows aimed at adding value to discussions with media, clients, and prospects.
- Ensure seamless communication processes that enhance client satisfaction and Vero reputation among media.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on effective communication practices.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proven experience in media strategy development and execution, preferably in a communications consultancy or media agency..
- Strong network and relationships with senior journalists, editors, and opinion leaders in Vietnam.
- Excellent understanding of the media landscape in Vietnam, including emerging trends and key players.
- Experience in crisis communications and managing media relations during challenging situations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and foster collaboration and delivering exceptional results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Fluency in both Vietnamese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**TRAVEL AND PLACE OF WORK**

**Work Location**:Your usual location for work will be the company's office in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. Your place of work may vary depending on the Company’s needs, including Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia the Philippines, or other locations as instructed from time to time. Additional expenses, incurred by you as a result of the Company directing that you work from a location other than your usual location, will be reimbursed by the Company.

**OTHER BENEFITS**
- **_Unlimited Leave_**: Your allocated holiday time at Vero will be unlimited. We trust our people to use good judgment when given guidelines for making decisions about taking a holiday and we know that our teams work better when they can rest and take a proper break from work. Our goal is that every team takes an average of 15 days (minimum) per person a year.
- **_Annual Bonus_**: An “enhanced 13th month” through which you will receive an annual extra sum of money equal to your salary in the preceding month plus a fraction of annual company benefits. The year-end bonus is determined by the Company and at its sole discretion. The Year-end Bonus is paid in the same paycheck of January.
- **_Flexible Office: _**All our employees can choose where they want to work from on any given day, should it be from the office, from home, from a coffee shop, or from a yacht in the Pacific Ocean.
- **_International Travel_**: As much as possible we push our teams to travel for events/client work. On any given year (non-pandemic that is) manager-level team members have the opportunity to visit some of our other offices, attend industry events and follow their clients if they handle regional projects.
- **_Health Insurance_**: The Company will provide a private medical insurance as a benefit. The actual package and structure of the insurance may be determined by the Company and at its sole discretion.
- **_Mental Health Budget_**: We understand the importance of access to proper mental health support, all our employees can access a minimum budget of $500 USD per year for therapy with internationally trained psychologists. The access to this budget and the content of your therapy are 100% confidential, only you and your therapist know what is being said during sessions, of course.
