ROLE SUMMARY
- Leading a small talented team of local design Architects working on local residential & hospitality projects in Vietnam and Asian.
- Developing architectural concepts and seeing through practical completion.
- Exposure and training to international professional standards and practices.

- Located in the HCMC office in Vietnam with a supportive collaborative team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Objectives and Key Result Areas

The specific roles and activities discussed with you are (but not limited to) the following:

- To carry out sketch design work.
- To carry out work associated with the submission of documentation for local authority approval.
- To undertake Urban Design and Masterplanning tasks.
- To liaise with and co-ordinate the various requirements and activities of Clients, Consultants and local Authorities.
- To carry out Site Analysis and Site Context Analysis.
- To relate designs to relevant codes and local authority requirements.
- Management of construction documentation packages.
- Proactive site contact.

To achieve design excellence through (but not limited to):

- Satisfying client needs and objectives as to function, time, cost and quality.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and planning ordinances.
- Ability to define "relevant" information.
- Capability, accuracy, speed, etc. in preparing documentation and details.
- Coordination of consultants' documentation.

To demonstrate construction knowledge through (but not limited to):

- Extensive knowledge of construction detailing and delivery methodology.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fire and other services.
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles.
- Buildability, knowledge and experience
- To meet all deadlines committed to clients, colleagues and contractors.
- To ensure the projects are delivered on cost, time and quality parameters agreed between you,

the Client Manager and the Client.
- To promptly inform your Directors and Associates of any problems that you are concerned about,

particularly of any problems and any areas of risk for the firm or its client's reputation and

financial wellbeing.
- To continuously enhance your skills experience and breadth of knowledge, through training and

self-education, in order that you can take on greater responsibility.
- To promote the full range of the firm's services to existing and prospective clients and support

the sales, marketing and growth objectives of the group.
- To be innovative and creative in improving or developing better products, services, methods,

systems for the implementation and delivery of projects.
- To operate within the procedural guidelines of the firm's management policies and professional

practice standards unless otherwise formally authorised.
- Participation in project reviews.
- Mentoring and management of team members.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required
- 8-10+ years Architectural design experience.
- Bachelor of Architecture degree required.
- Good communication skills in both English and Vietnamese written and spoken.
- International experience highly valued.
- Competence with local Vietnamese codes/ standards and regulations.
- Construction knowledge and site experience including shop drawing review.
- Time management and team resourcing and management skill.
- Willingness to learn ArchiCAD BIM software.

Preferred
- Experience in construction documentation, detailing & co-ordination.
- Medium - Large scale master planning experience.
- Experience in ArchiCAD software.
- Experience working on international projects locally or internationally.
- Experience with international codes and standards.
