JOB OVERVIEW
Under general supervision, addition to the daily on-site source inspection & processes audit duties. This job is responsible for constituting the inspection and audit schedule, objectives, and priorities when relocated to a new on-site location and work independently. Incumbent will oversee the process of new assignments and also will act in support of quality engineers/supervisors/manager and US quality initiatives.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, conduct and report daily inspections & process audit results.
- Follow up SI open action items and formal corrective action to assess completion and effectiveness.
- Identify and summarize evidence to support standards compliance conclusions to quality engineer.
- Identify, document, and recommend disposition of non-conforming products.
- Follow up on quarantined products and disposition decisions to assess completion.
- Assisting maintenance of product quality standards documentation and physical samples.
- Assisting coordinates the inspection and routing works with suppliers, making arrangement under special situation, in order to keep a high inspection performance.
- Assist with the data collection, reporting and analysis of product defects.
- Assisting for quality issue follow up and problem solving
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Thorough understanding of production processes.
- Thorough knowledge of quality standards and requirements contained in them.
- Moderate knowledge of general audit terminology.
- Moderate understanding of variation and common and special causes.
- Able to understand new product specifications and shop floor work instructions.
- Strong initiative to complete assignments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School / Technical School Diploma required
- Associates Degree in Quality Technology or technical school education preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)
- This job will require constant walking and occasionally lifting of baskets of Golf Balls, in excess of 25lbs.
- Factory, exposure to noise, heat in some departments and cold conditions in others.
