Job purpose
Managing day-to-day activities of Finance and Accounting and assigned tasks including SBV reporting, management reporting, tax, business finance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Finance management
- Perform financial management including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing business trends and assessing the financial data.
- Producing financials on a monthly basis, quarterly and annual which provide an insight to the branch management of the financial performance of the Branch.
- Ensuring production and filing of accurate financial records in compliance with local and DBS accounting standards.
- Support HoF in daily financial operations and collaboration with key stakeholders.

2. Business Finance and Finance Advisory
- Responsible to produce insightful analysis of business, business planning, forecasting, product, and customer profitability to support decision making of management. Assisting annual budget exercise with BUs.
- Providing business finance support for new projects; financial cases review, and performing financial modelling impact analysis
- Preparing presentation decks for management with insightful commentaries and key messages
- Providing advice and supporting to business about tax, accounting policy and financial controls
- Monthly preparation of monthly business reviews with regional and / or business unit heads
- Managing and achieving financial target and objectives, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

3. Reporting
- Ensuring production and filing of accurate and timely reports to statutory authorities (SBV, tax, ICAAP) while ensuring compliance with regulations, including Prudential Ratios.
- Management Financial Reporting - Perform Monthly Performance Analysis on end-to-end P/L (including capital).

**4. Management of audit and tax**:

- Ensuring to audit report and annual tax returns submitted on time as well as comply with regulatory requirements and tax commitments.
- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with regulators
- Working with tax consulting, regional tax for all questions relate to business, contract, or a specific operation.

5. New local regulations
- Ensuring all the changes/new on the regulations will be implemented on time (updated FPT system, updated mapping between Group and SBV requirements)
- Updating internal policies and identify financial risks, developing implementation of the financial management and accounting systems, financial policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Recognized degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant major is a plus.
- At least 8-10 years relevant working experience in a banking environment / audit background.
- Strong experience Tax/ SBV/ICAAP reporting / MIS / Business Finance.
- Strong multi-task, ability to work independently and under pressure. Able to propose new ideas for continuous improvement.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Attention to details, Good interpersonal / communication, presentation skills to liaise with local and regional stakeholders / management.
- Takes accountability and demonstrates commitment towards achieving outcomes.
