About the job

Design, develop, and maintain an abstract ETL platform for efficient data transfer between Snowflake and Oracle databases.
Monitor and optimize ETL processes, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks to improve efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Financial Ops, and other stakeholders to define and implement data integration requirements.
Implement data validation and cleansing processes to maintain high data accuracy and quality standards.
Plan and execute data migration activities, ensuring data consistency and minimizing business disruption.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and techniques in the data engineering field to enhance team capabilities.
Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project goals.

About you

Bachelor’s/College’s degree in Information Technology or similar technical fields.
At least 2-3 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on ETL development and infrastructure.
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
Strong understanding of ETL concepts and ability to design and develop complex data integration processes.
Experience with Apache Airflow is a plus.
Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence (BI) solutions.
Experience with Snowflake and/or Oracle databases is a plus.
Familiarity with at least one cloud computing platform such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good verbal English communication skills.
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
