**The position**

The **Network Engineer Service Delivery (NE-SD) **role will be involved in developing, managing and promoting a quality user experience in the areas of implementation, training and consulting for a network security solution, MetaAccess Network Access Control. The NE-SD role will require extensive networking skills with both wired and wireless network vendors. The NE-SD role will coordinate activities to meet established deadlines, resolve complex problems and is responsible for meeting customer objectives and expectations. You will specialize in wired and wireless networking technology and collaborate with software engineers, quality assurance analysts and other development staff to design and integrate a customer's network environment with MetaAccess NAC.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Manage deployment projects involving the deployment of the networking security solution
- Integrate the customers network vendor into the networking security solution and test customer use cases
- Each deployment is a mini-project that is conducted from our office in Tampa—as such, project management skills are required
- Assist with evolving the process of service delivery to improve speed to delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction with the process.
- Ability to relate to customers with varying levels of technical skills and understanding; from the end-user, to the IT Manager, to the Executive level
- Assist in QA/Testing/Certifying both new versions of the solution, integrating new third-party network platforms and new networking security solutions
- Stay current with product information, best practices, changes and updates
- Stay current with networking and security technology
- Train users in existing or new functionality in order to maximize their system's potential and usability
- Create and update product documentation and best practices
- Participate in on-call rotation with other engineers
- Other duties as assigned

**What We Need from You**
- Prefer bachelor's degree in a technical area (i.e. Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, **networking specialist**, computer programming, information technology)
- Must have a minimum of** 3-5 years proven expertise in Wireless and Wired networking** (Required experience with Cisco and HPE Aruba)
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and RADIUS systems
- Successful **customer-facing professional services** and project management expertise
- Experience managing high priority technical issues and their associated tracking and communications
- Knowledge of relevant Support Tracking Procedures and Tools
- Documenting products and procedures
- Knowledge of Wireless Understanding of Internet security technologies such as firewall, networking, authentication, intrusion detection systems, antivirus, Mobile Device Management (MDM), etc.
- **Linux command line scripting**:

- **Ability to create ad hoc command line queries in SQL syntax.**:

- **Understand networking fundamentals. i.e. DNS, DHCP, routing, host-based firewalls.**
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with mínimal direct supervision
- **High level analytical and problem-solving **skills
- Actively seeks to share expertise with others, with approachability, listening skills and teamwork
- Intense curiosity, and drive to understand and master new technologies
- Strong **communication & interpersonal skills** to effectively deal with various management levels, peers & end user needs
- **Advance of English communication**

**It Would Be Nice If You Have**
- Certifications are a plus. _However intense drive, skills, motivation and interpersonal skills may compensate._
- Prefer successful remote customer support and management expertise
- Prefer experience troubleshooting software and network problems in Windows, Apple OS X, Linux, iOS, and Android environments
