Access Screening is a market leading cloud-based pre-employment and compliance product that has a rapidly expanding client base. Enabling customers to take control and manage their compliance process, Access Screening is the prerequisite of every employment hire. About you: - You are collaborative, pragmatic, and can effectively communicate with stakeholders, providing recommendations based on risk, commercial factors, and strategic objectives. - You write clean, self-documenting code and stay updated with the latest technology, actively promoting and taking ownership of quality-centered activities. - You coordinate, plan, and manage Dev sprint/release activities, taking full responsibility for projects, identifying risks early, and making decisions to ensure successful delivery. - You coach and guide junior teammates, demonstrate role model behaviors, and have experience with relevant technologies, requirements analysis, and successful project delivery. Day-to-day, you will: - Design and develop software solutions to meet acceptance criteria using various languages and technologies, ensuring engineering standards are established and followed within the Scrum team. - Actively participate in requirements analysis, identify and fix defects using debugging techniques, and execute refactoring for maintainability. - Contribute to the Technical Roadmap by understanding technical, commercial, and risk factors, and recommending priorities. - Own and manage specific projects and deliverables, providing technical leadership and guidance to the development team, while championing a quality-focused approach and collaborating with the QA team. Your skills and experiences might also include: - An exciting role within the recruitment division as a senior member of the team working on our Screening and Compliance products. You will work with the engineering manager and leads to ensure the delivery of the roadmap, and the technical and quality deliverables of the team, while supporting junior members. - You will contribute to hands-on coding and engineering processes within the team, ensuring project delivery, maintaining technical and quality standards, and keeping the team motivated and engaged. - Experience in MySQL, Python, Django, HTML, JavaScript, and Unit Testing is essential. Experience in Vue.js, Celery, PHP, Azure DevOps, AWS/Azure, and SonarQube is desirable but not essential. - You take pride in delivering quality software that makes a difference to our customers.
