At Hyperion360 we offer flexibility in working hours and working location (fully remote). You will work closely with the client to refine feature design and functionality.

**Summary**

This is a full-time remote role for a Unity Game Developer at all levels to join a US start-up mobile game team. The Unity Game Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing interactive gameplay mechanics, including game logic and user interface, to create compelling games for various platforms. The Unity Game Developer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery of game features.
- Develop the foundation of 2D game mechanics including monetization.
- Rapidly prototype and provide feedback to product and design stakeholders.
- Implement new gameplay mechanics with Unity/C# which support the vision of the game’s design.
- Passion for gaming and a user-driven mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional player experiences.
- Incorporate knowledge of API design and integration best practices into implementations, encouraging code reuse.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risk, as well as quickly and accurately resolve unexpected issues that can occur during the development process.
- Support an error-free release through incorporation of automation and test frameworks into your development process.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality is maintained.
- Collaboration with a remote and geographically distributed global team.
- Lead a team of developers to deliver high-quality products.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create engaging gameplay mechanics.
- Develop and maintain codebase for 2D physics-based games.
- Optimize game performance and memory usage.

**Experience, Skills & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience of 5+ years in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience developing 2D/3D games using Unity/C#.
- 2+ years of experience developing 2D physics based games.
- 2+ years of experience as a leader of an Agile game development team.
- 2+ years of experience using asset storage systems (Perforce, Github, SVN).
- Strong portfolio of shipped titles that demonstrates experience creating 2D puzzle games and monetization platforms in Unity/C#.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Self-starter with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
