RF/Microwave Engineer

Diamond Foundry Inc. is a pioneering company that's revolutionizing the tech industry by harnessing the power of diamond technology. We're seeking a highly skilled RF/Microwave Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge equipment used for diamond growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing new high-power microwave systems and diagnostics to improve the efficiency and control of our reactors. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art project that's pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the field of diamond technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new high-power microwave components and systems, including high-power amplifiers and passive waveguide components.
  • Guide internal and external design decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Develop microwave diagnostics for reactor health monitoring to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • MSEE preferred, BSEE required with 5+ years of industry experience.
  • A proven track record of creative problem-solving and successful delivery of new products and system designs.
  • Ability to architect a complete power amplifier design, including analysis, component selection, circuit design, and board and system-level testing.
  • Hands-on experience with RF/microwave equipment used in the testing of microwave components and amplifiers.
  • Proficiency in a full-wave electromagnetic design tool (HFSS, CST MWS, or COMSOL) and other circuit design/layout tools.
