Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.Coordinate with various departments to prioritize production activities and allocate resources efficiently.Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.Team Management:Supervise and mentor production staff, including technicians, assemblers, and operators.Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and productivity.Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Quality Control:Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product integrity and reliability.Implement measures to identify and address defects or deviations from quality standards.Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.Process Optimization:Continuously evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Identify opportunities for automation and implement technological solutions to streamline production workflows.Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to implement process improvements and introduce new technologies.Inventory Management:Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production schedules.Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure accurate stock levels.Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.Health and Safety Compliance:Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness.Conduct regular safety inspections and implement measures to mitigate hazards and reduce risks.Provide training on safe work practices and emergency procedures to production staff.Experience Requirements:
Proven experience in electronics manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including PCB assembly, SMT, and testing.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.Proficiency in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Solid grasp of quality management systems and experience with ISO standards.Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Education Requirements:
