Electrical Integrity and Packaging Expert

Eliyan Corporation is seeking an Electrical Integrity and Packaging Expert to join our team. As a key member of our packaging solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of traditional and advanced packaging for our chiplet solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with analog circuit designers to define IO requirements and co-design channels.
  • Perform pre-layout and post-layout channel simulation and optimization to achieve optimal performance.
  • Use driver/receiver models to run transient channel simulation, inspect eye diagrams, and improve performance.
  • Apply best practices for power delivery network design, model extraction, and DC/AC/transient simulations.
  • Understand substrate and interposer manufacturing design rules, assembly requirements, and drive layout engineers to implement them.
  • Perform measurements in the lab, correlate with simulation, identify issues, and provide solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in signal integrity and power integrity simulation methodologies.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as HFSS, Q3D, Siwave, PowerDC, PowerSI, ADS, Spectre, HSPICE, Allegro.
  • Knowledge of lab equipment such as Vector Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, High-Frequency Oscilloscope.
  • BS degree in EE or equivalent, with 5 years of experience.
  • Onsite work required.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in IC packaging, manufacturing, and advanced package design.
  • Knowledge of SERDES design, IBIS-AMI model creation.
  • MS degree in EE or equivalent, with 7 years of experience.
