About this opportunity:

Join our dynamic team at Ericsson as a Solution Architect.

In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable technical solutions in your respective technical domain.

These solutions will be based on customer specifications and business needs. As Solution Architect, you will be responsible for creating both short
- and long-term profitable business strategies for Ericsson. This will be accomplished by working closely with the Core 3 team to translate customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals.

What You Will Do:

  • Engage in detailed discussions with customers to understand their technology strategy and identify key challenges.
  • Analyze customers' technology and business environments along with their nonfunctional requirements.
  • Identify customers' improvement areas and challenges related to both technology and business.
  • Collaborate with the Core 3 team to develop a list of potential activities and solutions.
  • Construct value arguments alongside the Core 3 team.
  • Develop and present technical presentations to customers.
  • Support deployment of solution
  • Performs troubleshooting to diagnose issues, taking corrective actions or raising escalations where needed to ensure quality of delivery
  • Performs integration and migration work in accordance with process framework and contractual obligations
  • Provide feedback to R&D
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing

  • Expertise in project implementation.
  • Skilled in negotiation.
  • Deep understanding of hardware, architecture, virtual environments, technology, protocols, and interfaces.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members.
  • Extensive experience as a solution architect.
  • Solid financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in customer solution design.
  • Market insights and understanding of market trends.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Ericsson's portfolio.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Commitment to knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Expertise in infrastructure capacity, performance analysis, and solution definition.
  • Experience in technical sales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 812 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, preferably within the telecom sector.
  • Deep understanding of telecommunications networks, technologies, and protocols (e.g., 5G, LTE, O-RAN).
  • Knowledge of hardware architecture, virtualization, and cloud environments.
  • Expertise in RAN network integration.
  • Knowledge of Microwave, Router integration is an advantage
  • Strong background in network infrastructure, performance analysis, and solution definition.
  • Experience with Ericsson's product portfolio and solutions is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Relevant Technical Certifications RAN area
