Job description

ABOUT THE JOB
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop effective test strategies and plans.
Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure product quality.
Identify opportunities for test automation and provide recommendations to improve the overall testing process.
Work closely with developers to understand software architecture and design, ensuring proper test coverage.
Participate in the review and refinement of user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and test artifacts.
Generate comprehensive test reports and communicate test results to stakeholders.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing detailed defect reports.
Stay updated with the latest automation testing tools, technologies, and best practices.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing automation expertise and best practices.
Continuously improve the automation testing process and contribute to the enhancement of quality assurance practices.

ABOUT YOU
Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in Java programming language for automation testing.
Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver or similar automation frameworks.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts from scratch.
Ability to work independently, taking ownership of automation testing activities and delivering high-quality results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and isolate issues effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively report and communicate test results and progress to stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Experience working with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Scrum.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality software products.
ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
