  • We are excited to introduce "Shipcheck," an innovative and datadriven logistics cost management platform designed to optimize operations and drive efficiency.
  • We will start developing Shipcheck as a completely new product in the middle of the year in order to offer our customers even greater added value in analysing their structures and as a digital assistant to our comprehensive range of consulting services.
  • For this highly innovative project, based on the latest technological capabilities, we are building the leading technical team in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • HDS international Group opened a location in Ho Chi Minh City at the beginning of the year. There are currently 13 employees there. We plan to have over 100 employees at the Ho Chi Minh City site by the end of 202

Job description:

  • Your tasks:
  • Technical Leadership
  • Define the technical roadmap and architectural vision for Shipcheck, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Lead by example, actively contributing to the development process, and guiding the team in implementing a scalable and highquality solution.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, particularly in cloud computing (AWS), AI, database design, frontend frameworks and API integration and leverage them to maximize Shipcheck's capabilities.
  • Team Building and Management
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor a team of 34 talented developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, empowering them to take ownership of their work and grow both professionally and personally.
  • Foster a handson mentality within the team, encouraging active participation in all stages of the development lifecycle.
  • Product Development
  • Manage and actively contribute to the endtoend development of Shipcheck, from conception to delivery and beyond, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders and design to translate requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.
  • Drive the backend implementation ensuring adequate handling of large amounts of data
  • Drive the implementation of interactive data visualizations on the frontend, leveraging modern frameworks and libraries to enhance user engagement and decisionmaking.
  • Technology Stack and Integration
  • Champion best practices in cloud computing (AWS), database modelling and design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of Shipcheck's infrastructure.
  • Facilitate seamless integration of thirdparty services and APIs to complete Shipcheck's functionality and provide value to our users.
  • Leverage AI technologies to enhance data organization and analytics capabilities
  • Leverage best practices in frontend and appealing data visualization to drive actionable insights for optimizing logistics cost management.

Your skills and experience:

  • Education, Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience
  • Uptodate expertise in all fields of software engineering, e.g. cloud computing (AWS), database management, backend, frontend data visualizations, API integration, and AI.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teambuilding skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
  • Ability to identify with a product for the logistics sector
  • Enthusiasm, dedication to work and willingness to work in a new team
  • You have a high sense of discipline and a serious attitude at work
  • Diligent, honest, thorough, agile, inquisitive, hardworking
  • You are looking for a longterm position in a new young team
  • Strong handson mentality
  • Language skills:
  • Written and spoken English
  • German communication would be aplus
