Leader AI Engineer (Full-time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Growing, leading, and managing the AI engineering team
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to understand needs and translate them into system requirements
  • Developing and implementing AI models for NLP, automated scoring, speech recognition
  • Overseeing project management including planning, coordinating, and executing tasks effectively
  • Conducting research to identify new trends in AI and incorporate them into our product development
  • Conducting regular health checks and system diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Continually monitoring AI systems and implementing improvements for efficiency, scalability, and stability

Requirements:

  • General requirements
  • Proven experience in team leadership and management
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Technical & domain requirements
  • Experience in deploying AI models in production environments.
  • Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with standard NLP tasks (such as language model, text classification, etc.)
  • Ability to use and modify AI frameworks (fairseq, Huggingface, etc.)
  • Excellent research skills, able to identify and integrate new AI trends into our operations
  • Proficiency in the latest LLM models (ChatGPT, GPT4, Bard, etc.) and opensource ones (Alpaca, LLaMA, etc.)
  • Good English proficiency: Minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent
  • Prompt engineering skills are preferred
  • Experience in MLops (Kubeflow, BentoML, etc.) is preferred
  • Having degree(s) in IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related fields is preferred
