This is a popular, not-for-profit American international school in Hanoi that follows a US-based curriculum for children aged 4 to 18 years.

As part of the Lutheran Church

• Missouri Synod (LCMS) in the United States the school delivers a valuesbased approach to education that is grounded in the Christian. The school has around 500 students and has a closeknit, community feel. Students are academically selected, and go on to attend top universities worldwife. The school is located on a purposebuilt suburban campus, complete with athletics, arts, and science facilities.

Role and Requirements

The High School Counselor position will include a variety of responsibilities related to comprehensive counseling; social-emotional, academic, and university counseling for grades 9-12.

• 5 years of experience working as a high school counsellor (3 years as an absolute minimum).
• Fully qualified with a Bachelor of Education and/or counselling qualifications
• Experience in an international school setting is highly desirable
• You should be experienced professional who is flexible, positiveminded, and willing to help to develop and implement innovative counseling programming in a growing, Christian international school environment.
• The school prefers to hire Christian teachers but this is not essential as long as there is empathy and respect for the religion and ethos.
• The position requires the willingness to travel internationally for professional purposes, both during the school year and during a designated period of the summer.??
