Position Overview


The IT Lead plays a critical role in orchestrating technology solutions and services to meet the strategic and operational goals of the human health commercial (HH) activities in Vietnam.


This is a multi-faceted role that requires:


Acting as a bridge to business and be seen as a critical business partner for all areas of the business and will work across all divisions proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable organizational capabilities.

Providing a conduit to the enterprise of IT by engaging with and drawing down on value team products into the market and will maintain a close relationship with a network of IT capability leads and divisional leads


This position will play a leading role in the realization of value through understanding of applicable business processes, followed by identification, implementation, adoption and realization of appropriate solutions for the local market.


Part of the hybrid role is the market squad leadership role accountable in evolving the Automation & Compliance (A&C) value area of the Asia Pacific Region.

The responsibility includes orchestration of business co-owned prioritized A&C priorities, management of the digital technologists working in collaboration with the Automation Value Team to support AP markets identify the right capabilities to meet the business process automation needs and establish a citizen development culture.


Key Responsibilities, Result Areas & Tasks

  • Provides facilitation for design and implementation of strategic, aligned and compliant digital solutions to support business strategy.
  • Supports and contributes to the business leadership vision, strategy and policy for building a highperformance engagement model with business partners
  • Enforces value realization activities are followed with prioritization of initiatives that maximize investment to achieve business outcomes
  • Communicates IT strategy and portfolio to key business stakeholder and facilitate buyin across key stakeholders including all digital innovation initiatives
  • Builds a strong network within the divisional ITs and IT Technology center for sharing expertise and the enterprise digital strategy
  • Acts as a credible change agent to align the IT portfolio and roadmaps with the overall business strategy
  • Brings together the right stakeholders to ensure compliance and sustainability of IT solutions
  • The position is the leading role in the realization of value through understanding applicable business processes followed by identification, implementation, and realization of appropriate and rightsized IT solutions for the local market.
