Responsibilities:

  • Play in a dynamic, collaborative, transparent, nonhierarchical, and egofree culture where your talent is valued over a role title.
  • Working in collaborative teams and building quality code. Help the team to champion software quality and engender technical vision and ensure clients are satisfied.
  • Be problem solvers, think through hard problems and work with amazing people to make the solutions reality.
  • Practice agile software development and be a great team player.
  • Validate your quality by writing unit tests and documentation.
  • Take ownership of your code from inception to production.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of developing high transaction backend systems in Java that are highly performant and scalable while being costefficient and secure.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Solid knowledge of multithreading, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Solid technical knowledge of database systems both Relational and NoSQL with ability to write performant SQL queries.
  • Possess real handson experience doing JVM tuning and performance testing.
  • Experience with Linux, bash scripting, and running software in Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Participate in projects that span multiple teams from requirements to production in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experienced with Feature Flag development and/or A/B Testing.
  • Fluent communication in English, both verbally and written, to all levels within the organization including nontechnical audience.
  • Good knowledge and working experience within Fintech/Finance projects.
