Performance and Data Analyst

Job summary:

Produce and oversee the accurate and timely delivery of investment performance figures across the organization. Build analytical reports and provide automated solutions for complex workflows within the Risk department.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare metrics for the fund risk matrices on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide inputs to liquidity models for stress testing reports on a quarterly basis.
  • Oversee the performance and risk systems within the department and manage complex works flows.
  • Review and ensure accurate production of performance returns and analytical information across portfolios.
  • Investigate and resolve return differences by working with systems vendors and various departments.
  • Interpret and explain performance attribution results.
  • Build and prepare analytical performance reports.
  • Build analytical solutions and visualizations within the department including trending statistics and outlier reports.
  • Work with departments to identify data sources and pull information to build consolidated data sets.
  • Provide automated solutions within the department.
  • Manage complex workflows, data sets and time series information.

Experience requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the fields of financial, banking, securities, or information technology
  • Must be able to code in SQL, R and/or Python and demonstrate the level of ability.
  • Must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and can work under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of financial markets and investment management is a plus.
  • Understanding of fund accounting, performance calculation methodologies is a plus.
  • Must be proficient in English and Vietnamese.

Education requirements:

Holds an undergraduate degree or master's degree in computer science, math, engineering, auditing, or business.
