Job overview and responsibility


As Software Application Engineer, your mission is to help integrate our Robotics and AI products, technologies, and services into our partners' products.

2+ years of software development experience in an Agile environment.

  • BSc degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent academic or work experience.
  • Intermediate level in Python.
  • Product development experience related to IT / embedded system / AI.
  • Familiarity with software development tools such as git and shell scripting.
  • Some background in algorithmics (complexity) and mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics).
  • Ability to work at a fastpaced, highpressure environment.
  • Honest, detailoriented, careful, high sense of responsibility, team player.

Preferred skills and experiences

  • 5+ years of software development experience in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with professional working process (presentation, document writing, planning, time management).
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ programming.
  • Solid background in algorithmics (proof of correctness, complexity in time and space) and mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics).
  • Knowledge of Robotics (kinematics, calibration, motion planning).
  • Knowledge of Computer Vision and AI (deep learning framework and tools).
  • Basic level of CAD design / electrical design.
  • Japanese: Intermediate level or above.
