Job description

ABOUT THE JOB
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage
Lead and manage a team of manual testers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and development teams to understand project requirements and define test objectives
Coordinate and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and resource availability
Conduct manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing to identify defects and ensure product stability
Perform test estimation, test effort estimation, and test progress tracking to meet project deadlines
Identify and report software defects, track their status, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
Continuously improve test processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
Mentor and train team members on manual testing techniques, best practices, and industry standards
Provide regular status reports on testing progress, test coverage, and defect metrics to project stakeholders

ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Proven experience as a Manual Test Lead or similar role, with a track record of successfully leading and managing manual testing projects
Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, processes, and best practices
Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail
Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
Strong leadership and team management skills
ISTQB certification or equivalent qualification in software testing is a plus
