The Job Holder:
Responsible for the delivery of complex strategic initatives and leadership of a domain aligned transformation team.

Key Accountabilities (1):

'1. Project management and implementation

  • Plans effectively around delivery constraints and optimises the plan to maximise benefits and minimise risk. Develops the plan within constraints, considering the delivery approach, key milestones and dependencies within the plan, requirements and scope, effort and resources, budgets and quality.
  • Ensures the baselined scope, requirements, benefits, schedule and budget are managed as outlined in Business Transformation Frameworks(BTF). Identifies and intervenes where there is slippage and variance from plan.
  • Collaborates and builds positive stakeholder and business partner relationships providing regular updates to resolve high priority issues affecting the project
  • Proactively monitors project execution to effectively identify risks/issues/dependencies as they arise throughout the project lifecycle. Takes ownership of critical issues and ensures resolution within agreed timescales and implements mitigating plans against identified risks and issues. Escalates when needed to the Programme Manager (remaining calm, knowing when to escalate, and escalates with possible solutions).
  • Obtains buyin from the project sponsor, Steering Committee and other business partner stakeholders for all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, and scope changes
  • Analyses management reports, and derives insights from it to drive the right business decisions
  • Manage initative independently in the respective business domain/function and communicate and coordinate with other TPMs if there are dependencies with projects in other domains/functions.
  • Simultaneous execution of multiple projects from the same business sectors.
  • Keeps focus on the medium and long term goals and the Group's values particularly when under short term pressure
  • Supports management of the change and implementation within the business to ensure the change lands well and sticks, contributing to benefits realisation

Key Accountabilities (2):

Process improvement, innovation & champion new ways of working:

  • Responsible for researching new technology/latest industry trends, acquired banking sector knowledge; Exchange, share and train members to improve professionalism and work efficiency.
  • Lead and contribute to the improvement of project management processes
  • Promotes pace and energy within the team and leads by example
  • Promotes innovation and continuous process improvement within business line and across TPMO

Quality, Risk management and compliance:

  • Produce a welldefined agile plan, identifying the key milestones and assigning responsibilities / resources in line with Techcomway and SDLC and TPMO standards.
Identify risks and coordinate with relevant units to propose methods to measure and minimize risks in delivery

  • Ensure that the teams in the initative fulfill their commitments in relation to the agreed initative KRAs

Human resource management:

  • Resource management (human resource coordination, training, development of assignment mechanism, recognition and performance evaluation of employees, etc.), ensuring adequate and quality resources are maintained.
  • Training / Coaching / Supervising staff to comply with the standards and procedures of the bank
  • Organize training, career development orientation for employees, foster and build resources for the department.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences:

'Qualification:

'Having a bachelor's degree post-graduate degree in Technology or related discipline (MBA preferred)

  • Possess Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP / Prince 2)
'- PgMP certified (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years experience in project management
  • Banking domain, process and system knowledge and/or experience
  • Mastering advanced Agile Project delivery management methods and practices such as Scrum, Kanban, LEAN
  • Organisational, process and platform transformation

Foreign language level:
English, or according to TCB's regulations from time to time
