RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 1. Brand advocacy development_
  • Utilizing the extent of the MR function, oversee and ensure excellence in brand activation and demand creation with the purpose of brand engagement and sales
  • Analyze promotion effectiveness and ROI and provide TM Supervisors with suggestions of promotional mechanic and offer optimization
  • Manager and lead the deployment of digitally enabled direct to consumer interaction through the Scandi loyalty program
  • Continually monitor and track Scandi performance and put forward suggestions on how to develop and expand the effectiveness of the consumer loyalty program
  • 2.
MR Optimization Project Provide comprehensive review and analysis and the MR department and propose the most optimized MR team structure and ways of working to include:
_

  • Areas for greater digitalization and automation of the MR function and identify and source appropriate tools and or vendors to support
  • Cost & effectiveness optimization and be responsible for researching and overseeing the utilization of various analytical tools whether internal or external
  • Proposal of MR teams' geographic area and outlet coverage to determine most effective resource allocation
  • Identifying the right remuneration and Incentive scheme at all levels of the MR function
  • Analysis of the MRS & MRL's recruitment & retention rate, identifying areas of weakness to be addressed
  • 3. Transformational Projects_
  • Act as the trade marketing lead on key transformational projects relating to business intelligence and allocate and deploy MR resource as required

Projects to include:

  • D-Star
  • Retail Eye
  • Ensure quality and reliability of field data capture and input and be a strong coordinator between departments to ensure effective interpretation, analysis, and action proposals
  • 4.
Business Information & Intelligence _Consolidate and distill down MR supervisors reports to provide a national view and analysis on monthly performance to Sales & marketing functions to include:

  • General environment watch
  • Consumer trends
  • Consumer and customers insights
  • Competitor activity and intelligence
  • 5. Budgeting & Control_
  • Formulate operational plan with key activities and detailed budgets for the annual Budget Plan, track budgets, to ensure alignment with strategic guidelines and trade A&P efficiency without overspending by region
  • Evaluate the supplier landscape and pitch for and secure the right suppliers and vendors for MR resource provision and ensure the most recruitment
  • 6. Human resources management_
  • Creating a highperformance team dynamic
  • Manage and coach MR supervisors in the full delivery of their role and develop their competence and capabilities to encourage internal mobility
  • Monitor and evaluate the training development provided by the MR Supervisors and ensure they are providing the most relevant and impactful training support
  • Offer guidance and support on training and assessment for promoters, focusing on consumer selling skills, product knowledge (own and competitors), merchandising
  • Evaluate the job results and employees' performance on periodical basis
