Payment Engine (PE) is the heart of ZaloPay. The module specializes in transaction processing and fund flows. We are processing all kind of transaction in ZaloPay. The system supports various types of transactions (topup, withdrawal, money transfer, payment,...). The main technical requirements of the system are to provide high throughput (3k TPS), low latency, high availability, and highly scalable system.
We're looking for people with strong background or interest in building successful products or systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities (You will)

  • Design, build and maintain largescale services, data pipelines, tooling, and systems to ensure. Make a direct business impact in almost ZaloPay's missioncritical business domains including
  • Product, Merchant, Accounting, Finance, and Business Operations.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and welldocumented code using best practices.
  • Debugging and resolving complex issues that may arise in the system and addressing performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver highquality solutions.
  • Keeping uptodate with the latest technologies and trends in the industry and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Work in an Agile & collaborative environment involving different stakeholders.
  • Able to work in high pressure environment

Yêu cầu:

  • Have implemented and delivered distributed systems on a large scale.
  • Experiences with distributed transaction algorithms such as TCC, SAGA, Two-Phase Commit.
  • SQL, NoSQL database knowledge.
  • Distributed Caching such as Redis.
  • Distributed Locking such as ZooKeeper.
  • Distributed Event Streaming Platform such as Kafka.
  • Write highquality & maintainable codes. We work mostly in Java. However, languages are tools and we care more about your mindset & general engineering skills.
  • Have experience in operating and maintaining a large scale system.
  • Have experience in tracing system problem.

The following skills would be nice to have

  • Java technologies: Spring Boot, Reactive Programming, Concurrent/Parallel Programming, Messaging Frameworks,...
  • Experiences with bigdata technologies such as Apache Kafka, and OLAP.
  • Experiences in optimize JVM.
  • Experiences with financialrelated platforms/products are a plus.
  • Knowing how to work with K8S or cloud services, e.g GCP, AWS... is a big plus.
