Job Brief/ Project Description/ Job Overview

Responsibilities/ Daily tasks you will take care:

  • Utilize Xcode and iOS frameworks such as MapKit, Core Animation, URLSession, etc., to implement features and functionalities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into programming code
  • Continuously experiment, test, and validate solutions to problems, making associations between ideas to reach effective solutions
  • Improve the quality and structure of previously written code through code refactoring and optimization
  • Mentor and guide junior and midlevel developers, providing them with support and assigning tasks effectively
  • Comprehend the full scope of projects and provide suggestions and methods for development, testing, implementation, and maintenance
  • Coach and manage a team, overseeing the execution of both simple and complex tasks
  • Independently solve various problems, employing design patterns and best practices
  • Stay uptodate with the latest technology trends and advancements in the iOS development field
  • Conduct regular code reviews, offering constructive feedback and suggestions to less experienced developers

Requirements/ Desired skills and experience

Must-Have:

  • Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI for native iOS development
  • Strong knowledge of Xcode and its features
  • Experience working with iOS frameworks such as MapKit, Core Animation, URLSession, etc.
  • Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
  • Good understanding of DevOps practices, including tools like Bitrise and GitHub Actions
  • Proficient in using code versioning tools for maintaining and managing codebase such as GitHub
  • Good English communication

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in performing code reviews, offering feedback and suggestions for improvement

Soft and Communication Skills:

  • Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and transform business processes into code
  • Mentoring and leadership skills to guide and support junior developers
  • Comprehensive understanding of project scope and ability to provide valuable suggestions
  • Continuous learning mindset and staying updated with technological advancements

Based Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks
