We are looking for a highly driven Collections Analyst to join our Finance team to assist with the day-to-day collections process.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure collection goals are met and trade receivables are kept current
  • Conduct timely research and analysis for resolution of deductions and disputed items, including short/overpayments
  • Independently plan, analyze and carry out collection of past due accounts
  • Manage collection metrics, performance criteria, policies, and procedures to continuously improve KPI performance
  • Maintain and ensure adherence to the Corporate credit and collection policies in order to support revenue growth while reducing the risk of bad debt
  • Prepare clear and concise collections documentation on a regular basis to allow management to understand collections status and make strategic decisions
  • Perform credit analysis
  • Reviews orders on credit hold by assessing credit worthiness of customers, including financial ratings, open invoices, inprocess payments and backlog, and makes recommendations for order release to Manager
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers
  • Drive credit and collection process improvements and efficiencies
  • Assist with the month end close process as needed
  • Assist with adhoc projects

Qualifications

  • Minimum 35 years high volume collections experience
  • Exceptional MS Office Excel skills and ability to create pivot tables, vlookups, formula building and sorting of data
  • Positive and energized work attitude with a sense of urgency, strong work ethic and eager to learn and grow in a fastpaced work environment
  • Strong business writing skills and the ability to effectively articulate with discussions, proposals and negotiations in English, in a persuasive manner
  • Customer service orientated with professionalism
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment to drive success
  • Experience working for a fastpaced Software/SaaS organization
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and proficiency in all MS Office tools
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to rapid business changes that accompanies a highgrowth environment

Preferred Skills

  • Drive to maintain a current trade receivable balance
  • Strong interpersonal skills to drive collections and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Regular updates on collection status and resolve payment discrepancies/disputes
  • Experience with NetSuite and Zuora, a plus
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
