Launched by SC Ventures, Standard Chartered's innovation, fintech investment and ventures arm -TASConnect (TASC) offers organisations automated trade and financing solutions, via its a unique bank agnostic supply chain finance platform.

TASC's solutions are designed to improve cash flow within supply chains through four key capabilities:

  • Significantly enhancing efficiencies in accounts payable and receivable financing programmes
  • Enabling access to increased working capital sources
  • Automating and simplifying bespoke and complex workflows
  • Allowing businesses control of their own programmes in a secure and sustainable manner
TASC aims to be a leading provider of automated trade and supply chain financing solutions and though it will

initially focus on accounts payable and receivable management programs, it is looking to build additional

capabilities powered by artificial intelligence, machine learning and blockchain, along with ESG traceability to

bring greater value to its clients.

Job Descriptions

  • Design, Develop and maintain data pipelines to enable reliable data infrastructure to support ongoing initiatives in artificial intelligence, machine learning and distributed ledger technology.
  • Make key data pipeline decisions, implementation and the ongoing update and maintenance
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop scalable and performant solutions for their data requirements, including extraction, transformation and loading of data from a range of data sources.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product and Technology teams to help TASConnect refine and define new feature, products and solutions as relevant to client needs to ensure the venture is continuously delivering at the cuttingedge

Job Qualifications

  • 3 years+ work experience in building, maintaining data pipelines and adhoc data requirements
  • Proficient in SQL / PG SQL and deep experience working with relational, NoSQL databases and data lake.
  • Experience in: AWS Glue ETL, AWS Athena, AWS Kinesis, AWS Elastic Map Reduce with focus on Spark
  • DB: PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift, AWS RDS and Aurora.
  • Data Analysis: AWS Quick Sight and/or Tableau
  • Problem solving mindset who enjoys growing in a Startup venture environment.
  • Ambitious, selfdriven and highly motivated individual who can establish a healthy working culture based on the TASConnect DNA
  • You earned your degree from a toptier university and/or certified in data engineering/analysis
  • Certification in AWS is preferred, whereas certificates in GCP or Azure are also highly valued
  • Excellent oral and written Englis
