Senior Manager, Software Engineering :

    Job Purpose:

Key Accountabilities (1):

  • Own and execute the product roadmap for your projects by acting as a miniCTO
  • Be handson, build and lead crossfunctional squads of engineers by example
  • Define and implement engineering standards and champion engineering excellence
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to accelerate development whilst increasing stability
  • Instill a strong engineering culture in your squads and create a collaborative environment for your team
  • Ensure your squads are obsessed with automation.
  • Champion agile development You Build it You Own it culture.
  • Own the low and high level architecture and solution design for your platforms, including practices, patterns and technical stack selection.
  • Grow, support and develop engineers.

Key Accountabilities (2):

Risk management and compliance

  • Risk identification and selfassessment of the department's risks during operation, Planning to deal with risks and coordinating
  • Coordinate with related units to develop methods of measuring, assessing and mitigating risks.
  • Ensure department operations comply with internal policies, regulations, procedures, guidelines, etc. and service quality commitments (SLAs)

Key Accountabilities (3):

Human Resource Management

  • Develop a plan for staffing, coordinating human resources, building a mechanism for assigning, recording and evaluating the work performance of employees, ensuring adequate and quality resources are maintained in the department.
  • Organize training, career development orientation for employees, foster and build human resources for the department
  • Communication and orientation for staff to comply with the policy and development orientation of the system
  • Other responsibilities
  • Perform other tasks as directed by Manager
  • Lead members to participate in the building of the bank's organizational culture

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences:

Qualifications

  • University degree or higher, majoring in finance/economics/banking/business administration/computer science
Work Experience

  • Minimum 8 years in related field
  • At least 4 years in management position
Foreign language

  • English Level 3 (TOEIC = / or according to TCB's regulations in each period
Other requirement

  • Demonstrable experience leading a team of engineers to build highperformance distributed systems.
  • Deep knowledge of modern CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Demonstrable experience building platforms on either AWS, GCP or Azure.
  • Understanding of common system design patterns.
  • Recent programming experience in at least one modern language (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, Rust, Javascript)
  • Deep knowledge of automation and deployment patterns.
