Teacher of Drama (Maternity Cover)


British International School Hanoi is seeking to appoint a
Teacher of Drama to join our talented and dedicated team of educators
from
August 2023, for term.


The department is exceptionally resourced with a dedicated dance studio, separate drama studio, a multipurpose space, two music rooms, twelve practice rooms and access to the shared auditorium which includes changing rooms, storage and top-quality AV equipment supported by a full-time technician.


The Performing Arts team also leads on high-quality productions outside of the classroom with a wealth of performances and extracurricular activities taking place throughout the year.


The Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts curriculum is used up to Year 9, with selected core works used to support the delivery of the IGCSE and IB content.

This collaboration has created multifaceted experiences that provide an innovative performing arts education curriculum for students.

Students can opt to take Drama, Dance, or Music in Years 10-11, or a combination of 2 if desired.

At IBDP, we currently offer Theatre Studies and Music, with a view to expanding this to include Dance in the future.

This post will cover Drama across the age range, however it should be noted that our approach in the Primary School and Years 7-9 is interdisciplinary across the Performing Arts domains.
