Responsibilities

• Provide 1stlevel technical troubleshooting support to Service (Vestas & Non-Vestas)
• Provide remote/onsite support to service operations on the resolution of turbine alarms/alerts
• Travel on a needs basis to wind farm to enable direct issue resolution, supervision, or development of L4 technicians
• Support service team with technical inquiries from customers and local authorities
• Attend external meetings with customers and authorities to support the service team
• Support with the preparation of technical reports for customer and service operations
• Support the ASP ROS technical team with LPF, cost out, performance, and down turbine calls
• Develop and facilitate training of the Level 4 Turbine technician team to support the service business need
• Utilization of the C4C/TSL ticketing system to efficiently respond to and maintain the resolution of issues raised by the service operations team
• Acting as a subregional contact point for ASP ROS, collating/consolidating regionspecific information on a need basis to enable an ASP overview
• Escalation of challenging issues to the ASP ROS technical team for advanced troubleshooting support
• Provision of adhoc support to validate Component Inspection Report (CIR) related to WTG in subregion. Approval of CIRs to be completed at ASP regional ROC
• Create / Update Draft Vestas Global Advisor (VGA) based on the troubleshooting support and submit in the portal, which ASP will review to be available in the VGA portal
• Ensure correct SW and parameter settings for wind farms
• Remote Software upload support for Vestas & Non-Vestas turbines
• Create and consolidate costout suggestions from Service operations and support the ASP ROS technical team to develop costout projects for implementation

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• At least (5) years of working experience preferably in the wind industry or energy sector
• Working knowledge of various Vestas Fleet
• Experiences in interactions with local authorities
• High Diagnostic and troubleshooting technical skills with an emphasis on root cause analysis
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written English

Competencies

• Intermediate MS Office, particularly Excel
• Some degree of physical fitness to climb turbines
• Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to balance responsibilities and prioritize daily work without any supervision
• Ability to utilize all identified tools and systems listed in the relevant skills matrix for this position
• Ability to participate effectively as part of the team
• Ability to work in stress/timecritical environment
• Selfmotivated; selfdirected
